Are you very enthusiastic about building the Church? Do you want to take your relationship with God to the next level? Are you wanting to be stretched as a person? Do you want to gain experience and have a chance to grow your leadership potential? If you answered any of this with a yes, then this Internship is for you!
Our Internship program includes being a part of the inner workings
of ministry, weekly Bible school, leadership development and exposure to leaders in our community.
MINISTRIES
As an intern you will be placed in a ministry where you'll get to learn skills that build ministries. This is a great opportunity that will help you to dive deeper into finding out what your calling is.

WEEKLY STRUCTURE
This is what an average day in the life of an OTC Intern looks like. Around 25 hours plus Friday Night Youth. Additional to this, an intern may be needed to serve in the various courses happening throughout the week.

Serving in all 6 services across 3 sites.
Monday
Day off.
Tuesday
Staff Devotional, Ministry Time, Bible School, and Leadership Training.
Wednesday
Ministry Time, Bible School, SCA and Leadership Training.
Thursday
Ministry Time, Bible School, SCA and Leadership Training.
Friday
Youth
Saturday
Day Off.

SPIRITUAL
GROWTH
At Olive Tree Church we believe that when you put Jesus at the centre, you grow exponentially. We believe the best way to grow is to study the Word and then work out what it says in a community on mission, therefore we host weekly Bible school and take any opportunity to express what you've learnt.
LEARNING TO LEAD
We believe that everyone has Leadership Potential and in this program we want to tap into each Intern's Leadership Potential. We believe that people grow on the job and so we try to give interns opportunities to lead with real time feedback. Our goal is to equip each intern to be able to manage people and lead teams within any context.
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Interns will be exposed to many ministries within the church. Each ministry has staff members that are equipped with skills such as social media marketing, DTP, video capturing and editing, website management, production and leadership development. Interns will learn skills that will serve them not only in the church but in many aspects of their futures.
MISSION
TRIPS
We believe that character grows most when we are exposed to spaces outside of our comfort zone. Our Mission Trips will be to a variety of places both within our country and outside, in city and rural contexts. Interns will learn to serve and preach the gospel in many different environments.
